KK400
This latest innovation in block construction is the result of an extensive product development process. Lammi Kuorikivi® has been designed to meet the needs and requirements of professional designers. This new insulated concrete block was developed to provide an improved substrate for the plaster finish and greater control over the finished surface and its properties.
Our finished product offers an exciting alternative to traditional block construction, simplifying and speeding up the construction process while improving the strength and durability of both the structure and the rendered finish.
What makes Lammi Kuorikivi so exceptional is the innovative design of its outer shell. The outer shell and render substrate consist of a 25 mm thick, registered-design concrete shell divided into 200 × 200 mm squares. The shell has excellent impact resistance and is ready for rendering immediately after casting.
The shell block has a 200 mm load-bearing concrete inner shell and graphite EPS insulation. Lintels over openings are formed using Lammi’s lintel profile.

The hollow concrete block is quick to stack and easy to fill with concrete, as it has just one casting cavity on one side. Construction is accelerated by the hard concrete shell, which can be plastered immediately. Besides offering outstanding impact resistance, the hollow concrete block also provides exceptional load-bearing capacity, resistance to applied loads and resistance to lateral earth pressure. Lammi Kuorikivi is also highly suitable for technically challenging projects with high strength requirements, such as multi-storey buildings, industrial buildings and deep underground structures.
In addition to these properties, its exceptional fire classification, sound insulation and durability make this hollow concrete block a safe and sustainable choice.
