Lintel reinforcing steel profile 70

The patented Lammi connection profile has been designed for forming lintels over window and door openings with all Lammi cast block products. Special studs are punched into the base of the connection profile; together with the block and cast-in-situ concrete, they enable the profile to form a reinforced concrete connection. The connection profile replaces traditional timber formwork and significantly speeds up the construction of lintels over openings. The connection profile is designed to provide 120 mm of bearing at each end. In this way, the cut length is the opening width + 240 mm. Traditional tensile or shear reinforcement (hooks) is not required; reinforcing steel studs are used instead as shear reinforcement. Always check the structural drawings to verify how the openings have been spanned and what reinforcement has been used.
